This part is made for: BMW 3 Series E46 Coupé/Cabrio (1999–2007); BMW 3 Series E36 Coupé/Cabrio (1992–1999); BMW 3 Series E36 Compact (1993–2000); BMW 3 Series E46 Sedan/Kombi (1998–2005); BMW 3 Series E36 Sedan/Kombi (1990–1999); BMW 5 Series E39 (1995–2004); BMW 7 Series E38 (1994–2001). Before ordering, please check the production year and the original equipment (halogen / xenon / LED) in the description above; if you are not sure, send us the SKU and your car model and we will verify the fitment for you.

Always replace headlights with the same type your car was built with — halogen for halogen, xenon for xenon and adaptive (cornering) xenon for the same adaptive type. If you order a different type than the original, the connectors may not match, the dashboard may show error messages and the lights may not work correctly. The exception are our Full LED headlights, which are usually made as a replacement for the original basic halogen units — whether that applies to your model is always stated in the product description. Whether your car then passes the roadworthiness test also depends on its equipment (for example automatic headlight levelling or headlight washers) and on correct aiming. If you are not sure what type you have, or whether it suits your car, write to us before ordering and we will help.

The manufacturer does not state a type approval (E-mark) for this part, so we cannot confirm that it is approved for use on public roads. If you need to know, send us the SKU before ordering and we will check with the supplier.
